Mission Statement:
We (Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust) are dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans, underprivileged children, women, and families in need through education, health support, and empowerment. Our Vision: We envision a world where every child, woman, and family, regardless of their circumstances, has access to quality education, emotional support, and resources that foster personal and economic growth. Our Journey: Founded in 2014, Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust emerged from a deep commitment to support orphans, disadvantaged youth, women, and families in our community. Over the past decade, we have expanded our programs and reach, impacting countless lives across Tamilnadu, India. Our work is driven by a passionate team of volunteers, dedicated staff, and a network of generous supporters.
Our Programs:
1. Educational Support: We provide scholarships, school supplies, and tutoring services to ensure that orphans and underprivileged students have access to quality education.
2. Women Empowerment Initiatives: We offer vocational training, entrepreneurship workshops, and financial literacy programs to empower women, helping them gain skills and confidence to support themselves and their families.
3. Livelihood Programs:We implement skill development and job placement initiatives that enable individuals and families to secure sustainable employment, fostering economic independence.
4. Feeding Programs: Our initiatives provide nutritious meals to the needy, ensuring that children and families have access to the food they need for healthy growth and development.
5. Emotional and Psychological Support: Our trained counselors provide mentorship and counseling to help children and women navigate their challenges, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.
6. After-School Programs: We host a variety of activities that promote skill development, creativity, and social interaction for both children and young women, including arts, sports, and leadership workshops.
7. Community Engagement: We work closely with families and communities to raise awareness about the needs of orphans, underprivileged children, women, and families, promoting a supportive environment for all.
8. Health and Nutrition Programs: We provide access to health care services and nutritious meals, ensuring the overall well-being of the children and families we serve.
9. Tree Plantation Projects: We organize tree planting drives to promote environmental sustainability, combat climate change, and create green spaces in our communities. Impact: In our ten years of service, we have:
• Supported over 5000 orphans with educational scholarships.
• Empowered 20000 women through vocational training and entrepreneurship programs.
• Helped 25000 individual’s secure sustainable livelihoods through job placement initiatives.
• Provided 125000 meals to those in need, ensuring no child or family goes hungry.
• Offered More than 1000 hours of counseling and mentorship.
• Organized 3600 after-school programs that have engaged 135000 children and young women.
• Distributed 17000 health services to promote wellness.
• Planted 10000 trees through our tree plantation projects, fostering environmental awareness.
